help!

when im boxing sometimes, ill be boxing a guy who goes all in and just unloads a barrage of hits and my intial reaction is to block and swing aimlessly with my eyes closed cause hes hitting so fast, not to mention he is a pretty big dude. how do i stop this?

like the guy above said before dodge down and upper cut him below the ribs its like giving him the Heimlich maneuver except your punching him instead of jabbing your thumb at it very very painful and it will knock the wind out of you

jab defence and counter

Keep moving and use your jab to keep him back use good defense let him punch himself out then when you feel its your turn counter the second you feel his glove touch you slip under his jab and give him a good right hook to the body and left hook to the head

Takin him down

Dodge a punch by dodging down and give him a stiff uppercut under the ribs.....puts them down every time. Your punch will force the air from his lungs and it will cause the effect of "knocking the wind out of him". Show him what real boxing is :)

boxing advice to defend against a swarmer

I have gotten better with my defense and my combos, but still no matter what i do when im fighting the same opponent who is about 5:9 and im 5:11 it seems he just goes all in for head punches (hes about 180 pounds) and i cant keep back from him no matter if i jab to get him off or if i evade his attacks. When he gets to hitting my face enough i start to close my eyes and i cant see where im hitting causes he is hitting so fast and constant, if anyone can help with a stratgy for me that would be awesome. i have longer reach then him also

You haven't told us enough to tell you what to do. I'd like to know if he's taller or is he's got a bigger reach. Is he does all in first think i'd say is wait till he drops his guard to swing then hit him with a straight stiff jab or right. You could also slow the pace down using jab and keeping your distance and swinging.
